Learning VPN
I just finished a full update of my Linkedin Learning course Learning VPN, which introduces the fundamentals of how VPN works, and surveys some common options for building your own VPN solution.
“In this course, Scott Simpson delves into the essentials of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), including how they function and their significance in securing systems. Learn about common VPN protocols, implementations, and how to connect using various devices. Discover how to use an SSH server to create SSH tunnels, as well as how to use SSH as a SOCKS proxy. Find out how to configure OpenVPN servers and use IKEv2 and WireGuard protocols with Algo. Explore commercial VPN providers and learn how to troubleshoot issues, optimize VPN configurations, and implement secure VPN connections. This course is designed for intermediate computer users and help desk professionals seeking to bolster their understanding and use of VPNs.”
